Factory certificates vs product test reports
Factory certificates
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certify how the factory manages quality, environment and health and safety. They say nothing about how a particular swim goggle performs.

Product test reports
ISO 18527-3 reports and verifications cover the samples and models named on them. They apply to other models or configurations only after those are tested too.
Check the model, lens, coating and gasket in each report against your order.
Market documents
CE marking and FDA registration depend on the product and the destination market. We confirm which documents apply to your configuration before you make a claim on packaging.
Restricted-substance and EU product-safety evidence is scoped per program.

UK market access, restricted substances (such as REACH, RoHS and California Proposition 65) and EU product-safety obligations each need their own review and records. An ISO 18527-3 report does not establish them on its own. Send your target markets and configuration and we will identify the relevant documents.

Incoming materials
Resins, gasket materials, straps and packaging checked against the agreed specification before use.

Mold trials and first article
New or modified molds trialed, and first parts measured and approved before production starts.

In-process checks
Checks at injection molding, anti-fog and mirror coating, and assembly, so defects are caught at the step that causes them.

Final inspection
Finished swim goggles inspected to the sampling plan and acceptance criteria agreed for your program.

Pre-shipment
Packing, labeling and carton checks before dispatch. Buyer or third-party inspection can be arranged.

Compliance questions from buyers
Are Eyeline swim goggles CE marked?
CE marking applies per model and configuration. Our CE certificate of conformity covers the models listed on it, evaluated against ISO 18527-3:2020 under the EU personal protective equipment rules. For your program we confirm which models and configurations are covered and which documents the brand placing the product on the EU market needs for its technical file and Declaration of Conformity.
Is your factory ISO 9001 certified?
Yes. Young Sporting Goods (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. holds ISO 9001:2015 certification for the manufacture of swimming goggles and sales of goggle cases, together with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management-system certificates. These are factory certificates. They do not certify individual products; product evidence comes from test reports for the models concerned.
Does FDA registration mean the swim goggles are FDA approved?
No. Our Suzhou establishment is registered with the US FDA and the relevant devices are listed, through a US agent. Registration and listing are not FDA approval or clearance. The current registration details can be checked in the FDA establishment database.
Is the factory SLCP certified?
SLCP does not issue certificates or ratings. Our Suzhou facility completed an SLCP assessment whose data was verified by a third-party verifier, with verification finalized in September 2025. The verification report is available on this page, and we can discuss sharing the verified data with your social compliance team.
What GPSR information is available for an EU program?
Tell us the models and markets for your EU program. We will review the product information, traceability, instructions and incident procedures that apply, and agree which responsibilities sit with Eyeline and which with the brand placing the product on the market. Product test reports alone do not establish that GPSR obligations are met.
Are material test reports available for REACH, RoHS or California Proposition 65?
Send the destination markets and the materials, colors and finishes you have selected. We will identify the restricted-substance evidence available for that configuration and any additional testing needed. Check each report for the samples covered, the test scope, the date and the result.
Can buyers request a third-party factory audit?
Yes. Contact us with the audit protocol, scope and proposed dates. We will agree access, the documents your auditors need, confidentiality and scheduling with your audit team.
